today as i flipped through a book titled "clique"
my heart smiled at how much fun we all had
remember the good old days?
remember the golden great times?
remember the two rows of happening girls?
remember the eleven of us together?
remember the ma la mian days?
remember the bbqs at ping's?
remember the lengthy dready talks with ctc?
remember the over and over airport skytrain rides?
remember the soccer days with gracia?
remember the late night in school studying for chinese?
remember the "killer litter" and "mango tree" incidents?
remember the fighting fish quarrel?
remember how we turned the school upside-down?
remember how we rocked the canteen up and down?
remember how much teachers reprimanded us?
remember how we made a fool outta ourselves in town?
remember how we played starwars at cathay bowl?
remember how we thrashed things out in the balcony?
remember how much we went through side by side?
remember how we said we'll last forever?
my heart wrenched when i opened my eyes
those are nothing but memories now
yes i really miss those days.
